Dr. Chris Rehse
FOUNDER neotiv GmbH & Navan Technologies Inc.
Dr. Chris Rehse is a founder, CEO, venture builder, and transatlantic deep-tech operator. He brings a strong record of building and scaling scientific startups across Europe and the United States, with a particular focus on translating research into clinically validated and commercially scalable solutions.
He co-founded Navan Technologies, a Stanford University spin-out in the field of Biotech, and later founded neotiv, a European digital-health and medtech company focused on diagnostics for early Alzheimer’s disease. Across both ventures, he gained hands-on experience in taking science from lab innovation to regulated healthcare markets, guiding companies through clinical validation, regulatory strategy, fundraising, and expansion — both US to Europe and Europe to the US.
His broader work includes leadership roles within key innovation ecosystems. He serves as the Lead of the Bundesverband Deutsche Startups - Berlin; Venture Builder at KTH Innovation - Stockholm; Advisor to SPARK - Berlin, Stanford; Bertelsmann Stiftung – Digital Patient Berlin; and Board Member for Innovation at Labor Berlin – Charité | Vivantes as well as Startup-Mentor of Creative Destruction Lab, ESMT Berlin
